First day at my first world championships today, wow! It was SO MUCH FUN :D two rounds and two great scores, had a great laugh in the plane with the Danes, brazilians and Kiwis

So we made it to Dubai! Within a few hours we were blown away by the city, the hospitality and the amount of construction that has taken place for this 2012 Mondial event. We were all so excited to get to jump here, the drop zone must be totally unparalleled in its location and facilities, we felt very lucky :D
Our last traning camp before Dubai!! We headed down to Victoria wher Ralph and his team made us feel very welcome during our 5 day training camp. We were privileged to have coaching from Ann-Marie Jarzebowski, formerly of the Swedish parachuting team and now living in Australia, from whom we all learnt so much.
Australian top team, Rotor Out were training too and looking great!
Even the ladies in the canteen at Ramblers wanted to support us by buying a Valkyries tshirt! Fiona, modelling one ;)
Kate and Michelle during our recent training camp in Toogoolawah… We had a fantastic welcome from the locals at Ramblers DZ! It was quite overwhelming. We had a great, if short, camp and had fun with some speed drills at the end of each day :D
Woke up in paradise, AKA Ramblers DZ, Toogoolawah. The team are thoroughly enjoying the qld vibe while we’re up here for two days of training. Just not long enough!
The team last Monday at the medal presentation for NSW state champs. We won gold in Open 4way FS and got some good competition practise in. Six rounds, six clean exits, we were happy :D
